Sending Data - Via Email

In order to ensure that AP Circuits gets your data in the appropriate format please use the following guidelines.

  1. Ensure that your mail client is set to MIME or UUencoded format.
Most mail programs have options or preferences tabs where this can be done.
  2. Ensure that your "reply to" address is correct.
This address will be used to send an initial confirmation that your data has been received.
  3. Send the ZIP file as an E-mail attachment to staff@apcircuits.com.

The first reply message you recieve will be addressed to the reply-to address provided in your initial data transfer. All other correspondence (including billing and status) will be sent to the email address specified in your order form. If your order form does not contain an email field please get the most recent form here.

Special Notes

Email Risks

There is some risk involved with E-mail that you need to be aware of:

  • Security of and privacy of your data
  • Security of your Credit Card information
  • Malfunctioning mail routers/servers between your ISP and ours can cause delays of a day or more
  • Messages can be lost. This does happen occasionally and it can be caused when a mail relay goes offline. When a mail relay is restarted there is no guarantee that the messages in its queue are still intact.

The media has done a very good job of making Net users aware of the potential of mail interception. This is not a topic that we wish to lobby one way or another. If you are comfortable sending file attachments by E-mail, we will accept them.
