File Naming Conventions
| Gerber Foil Layers |
*.GER/GBR = Top or Component Side *.GER/GBR = Top or Component Side |
| Gerber Mask Layers |
*.GER/GBR = Top or Component Side *.GER/GBR = Top or Component Side |
| Legend and Mask layers can be unique for top and bottom causing an alteration to the file suffix. | |
| Aperture File sample | *.REP or *.APR (REP is the most common) |
| RS274-X sample | Gerber should be generated in 2.4 format |
| NC or Excellon Drills |
*.TH = Drill File *.DRL = Tool Report - Sizes are also in NC file header |
